Learn more about BioRenew, our lab standards, and what to expect when exploring regenerative options with our clinical team.

About BioRenew & The Cells

Stem cells are unspecialized cells that can self-renew and support the body’s natural repair processes through signaling and communication with surrounding tissue.
Our stem cells are sourced from donated U.S. umbilical cord tissue, collected after a healthy birth and with consent. Nothing is taken from the mother or baby—only tissue that would otherwise be discarded. Each donation begins with a screened mother who meets defined eligibility criteria before her donation is accepted.
Every lot is reviewed through third-party testing before it reaches our clinic. That includes sterility and infectious-disease screening, genetic screening, and verification of the actual cell count and viability in the vial. Handling is documented from source through clinical transfer so each batch has a clear chain of custody.
Safety depends on where the cells are sourced, how they’re screened, how they’re handled, and the clinical oversight around the visit. BioRenew’s process is built around those standards. That said, every medical procedure carries some level of risk, and your provider is the right person to discuss whether this is appropriate for your specific situation.
Our lab process is central to our work. We emphasize careful sourcing, controlled preparation, testing, storage, and consistency. BioRenew keeps this process close rather than outsourcing the most important parts of quality control.
Our source laboratory is registered with the FDA for facility and manufacturing standards. FDA registration applies to the facility, not to a specific product—BioRenew’s process is built around the safety, cleanliness, and consistency standards that registration represents.

Treatment & Candidacy

People most often come to explore regenerative options for joint health, mobility, recovery, inflammation, energy, and longevity—alongside broader interest in cellular wellness. Whether BioRenew is the right next step for any individual is determined together during the consultation.
Candidacy depends on your health history, current condition, and goals. A consultation is the best first step—the team reviews your situation with you, asks the right questions, and the provider determines whether moving forward is appropriate.
Every appointment is administered by a licensed NP or RN under the medical direction of Eric Walker, NP. Patient education and questions about the science and process are supported by Dr. Ryan Peterson, MD, BioRenew’s Director of Patient Education.
BioRenew works with qualified medical professionals and partnering providers. Treatment decisions are made only after a proper evaluation to determine whether a regenerative option is appropriate.
No treatment can be promised or guaranteed. Information on this site is educational only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. A qualified provider can help determine whether a regenerative option is appropriate.
BioRenew is not right for everyone. If the team or your provider doesn’t believe this is the appropriate path, they’ll tell you directly—that’s part of doing this carefully. Results also vary from person to person, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. We’d rather be honest about that than promise something we can’t.
Most people tolerate the appointment well. The most commonly reported responses are mild and temporary—some soreness, fatigue, or a headache in the day or two afterward, and occasional minor discomfort at the IV or injection site. Your provider will walk through the full picture with you, including any specific risks for your situation, before you decide to move forward.

Most in-office visits take about an hour. That includes check-in, a brief paperwork review, time with the provider, and the IV administered by trained clinical staff. Most members go home the same day feeling well.
Downtime depends on the type of treatment, the provider’s recommendation, and the individual. The clinical team will explain what to expect before any treatment is considered.
